I could see this as a non cannon spin off choose your own adventure type piece. A way for the "Reader" of CDRudd to explore the worlds of CDRudd. Make a small arc with branches at the end that have single pic responses with more detail. Then open polls about which ones to continue first. Heck I bet you could even build a low paying patreon process over that if you gave people the power to suggest branch ideas. and that way it never effects the main cannons planning. Its as if the reader getting bumped in creates an alternate line of events.
